Dye inks are a staple in any stamper's arsenal, and our dear Kathy K (
Seaside Stampin' Ink) shows us here how to use them to make an easy, elegant card illustrating one of the many Spritzer techniques. Start by spraying a piece of glossy cardstock using a
Mini Spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol and a few drops of an Espresso Adirondack reinker:

Wave the cardstock partially dry to separate the color:

Once it is completely dry, stamp
H-1236 Santa,
K-1230 Silent Night,
D-1333 Believe, and the branch tips of
G-1496 Tree onto the cardstock with an Espresso Adirondack Ink pad:

Then sponge around the edges with a Butterscotch Adirondack ink pad:

To add depth, layer with Adirondack Latte ink on top:

A Ginger ink pad adds an even richer look:

A bit of Espresso Ink provides the finishing touch:

And here are the beautiful results:

How simple is that? And the results are beautiful! Let us know if you try out this technique...we'd love to hear from you!
